We run a full multi-point check: combustion, heat exchanger, burners, igniter and flame sensor, gas pressure, blower, electrical connections, and the filter, and give you a straight report on anything starting to wear before it leaves you cold in January.
A furnace burns gas inside your home, so safety comes first. We test combustion, check draft and flue venting, and screen for carbon monoxide, so you know the furnace is running clean and safe, not just warm.
Dust and rust on the burners make for a weak, uneven, sooty flame and wasted gas. We clean the burners and flame sensor and adjust the flame so it burns clean and blue, which means safer combustion and lower bills.
The heat exchanger is what keeps combustion gases out of your air, and a crack is a carbon monoxide risk. Every tune-up includes a heat exchanger inspection, so a small problem gets caught during maintenance instead of becoming a safety emergency.
