After the old DC prison closed, Laurel Hill, Lorton Station, and Spring Hill filled with 2000s-era single-families and townhomes, while the streets off Route 1 and near Gunston kept their older, modest homes. Ten minutes up I-95 from our shop, we've serviced Lorton through the whole transformation.
The newer neighborhoods are entering their first real replacement cycle: builder-grade systems from the early 2000s hitting 15-20 years, water heaters failing in finished basements, and warranties that lapsed because nobody kept maintenance records. The older Route 1 homes need honest repair-or-replace judgment on equipment that's earned retirement, and some still run oil heat we're one of the last to service.

Lorton's 2000s systems are failing on schedule, and we're ten minutes away when yours does. In Lorton Station and Laurel Hill it's usually capacitors, condenser fan motors, and coils leaking at the seams; in the older Route 1 homes it's equipment at true end-of-life. Same-day response, flat-rate pricing, honest repair-or-replace advice.
We repair every heating system Lorton runs: the gas furnaces in the newer subdivisions, heat pumps in the townhomes, and the older oil furnaces still working along Route 1 and near Gunston, which we're one of the last companies to service and fuel. No heat calls get priority all winter.
First-time replacements are Lorton's story right now, the builder systems in Laurel Hill and Lorton Station are aging out together. We replace them with properly load-calculated equipment instead of cloning the builder's spec, the replacement estimate is free, and seniors and military save 5%.
Finished basements in the newer sections, sunrooms and additions in the older ones, and the odd converted outbuilding near Gunston, Lorton has plenty of spaces central air doesn't reach well. As a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor we fit quiet ductless heads that give those rooms their own comfort.
Lorton's townhomes run heavily on heat pumps, and the originals are due. We repair every brand and replace end-of-life units with high-efficiency inverter systems, plus dual-fuel combos for the single-families that want gas backup on the coldest nights.
If your Lorton home still has its original 2000s system, maintenance is what decides whether it lasts 15 years or 20. For residential HVAC, our diagnostic fee is $89. It covers a real diagnosis and a straight, written price before any work starts. Maintenance members have the diagnostic fee waived when they proceed with the repair. Ask us about the membership.
