Where we come from
Seventy years of showing up, brought home
Leonard Splaine opened for business in 1956, when Woodbridge was a small town on Route 1 and most of the neighborhoods we serve today didn't exist yet. The company grew the way trust grows: one furnace, one summer breakdown, one neighbor's recommendation at a time.
Three generations later, the same family still owns and runs it. We've never been bought by a national chain or sold to private equity, and that shapes everything: a real person answers when you call, the technicians in your home are employees we trained, and the name on the truck is a name someone in this company still signs.
We're one of the last companies in the region that still services oil heat and boilers alongside modern heat pumps and ductless systems, because when you've been here seventy years, you take care of every kind of home Northern Virginia built along the way.
